Privacy Policy
The Sudoku Method is a puzzle game. It has no accounts and no servers of ours. Your games, results and settings stay on your phone. This page explains the little that leaves it, and why.
What the app keeps on your phone
Puzzles you have started or finished, your results and statistics, your settings, your progress in the lessons, and whether you own Premium. None of this is sent to us. If you have Android backup turned on, Android may back it up to your own Google account, under Google's terms.
Ads
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner on the home screen, a full-screen ad now and then after a puzzle, and optional ads you can watch for a reward. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and use the advertising ID of your device, its IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. This is covered by Google's Privacy Policy and explained in How Google uses data in advertising.
Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the app shows a consent message from Google before ads. Where the law gives you the choice (in those places and in some US states, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your data), you can change it at any time in the app under Settings, Privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's Settings under Google, Ads. Premium removes the ads.
Purchases
Premium is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details. The app only learns from Google Play whether you own Premium.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data, and we do not receive your personal data. The only third party that processes data because of the app is Google, for ads and purchases, as described above.
Children
The Sudoku Method is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Deleting your data
Because nothing is stored on our side, there is nothing for us to delete. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in your phone's Settings, removes everything it keeps on your phone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
